I’m Magnus Shaw, I'm also an award-winning copywriter, blogger, and broadcaster.
I was born in Nottingham in 1965 to two professional teachers/amateur thespians. Educated in Nottinghamshire, I lived in London for several years (and often work there) and now reside, with my wife, in Derbyshire. I have three adult step children and my mother is the author Bette Paul.
For almost twenty years, I've worked in the advertising and media industries. From managing the creative output of the UK's largest media independent and writing a twice-weekly column for creativepool.com, to conceiving and writing campaigns for famous brands - even producing the odd radio show - it's certainly been an exciting and varied career.
I've always sought to combine my passions for creativity and writing, to produce effective, compelling communications and, in recent years, have immersed myself in the incredible possibilities offered by digital technology, blogging and social media.
My writing appears regularly on various platforms, I edit the popular music and media website therockingvicar.com and I am regularly involved in the development of new websites, creative projects and marketing campaigns for a handful of valued clients.
